Matthew Holtzendorff, graduate of the class of 1987, earned his PhD in History from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. Matt serves as a Captain in the U. S. Army stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas- and has served two tours in Iraq. He will be serving another tour overseas in the spring of 2010.
